Children's work

Aims

The aim of our Children's Work at Highfield is to help the children to develop a growing and personal relationship with God by:

  • Offering friendship, fellowship and fun
  • Promoting Christian values and attitudes
  • Presenting adult Christian role models
  • Helping the Children to get to know the Bible
  • Encouraging a developing prayer life
  • Supplying a positive influence in the children's lives
  • Providing a secure and welcoming environment
  • Respecting each child as an important individual with his/her own rights
  • Helping children encounter God

To fulfil these aims, Highfield Church has the following children's groups:

The children's ministry team are volunteers who have been cleared by the CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) and who adhere to the Church's Child Protection Policy.

If your child has special needs, a form is available to help us work with your child most effectively. The form is available in the secure area here [username and password are printed on page 4 of the notice sheet].
