thursday morning group
Thursday Morning Group is an informal meeting for women of all ages and backgrounds. We meet during term time in the Church Centre Lounge on Thursdays from 9.30 am until 11 am. Coffee is available from 9.15 am.
We meet to look at the Bible together - sometimes studying a book from the Bible, sometimes working on a theme. A group member usually leads the study, but sometimes we have outside speakers.
We enjoy friendship and support from each other and pray in small groups for our own needs and for the church.
We meet for occasional 'shared' lunches and during the summer break, we meet for coffee in various homes.
We aim to have at least one 'quiet' day each year - usually in the New Forest, so that we can explore a topic more thoroughly and enjoy each other's company.
We have a creche for pre-school children in the Small Lounge run on a rota basis by group members.
