Silence may be golden, but not when you want to hear what the speaker at a service is saying! The Sound Team exist to support worship by by ensuring that the services can be heard as well as seen. The sound team are responsible for ensuring that what is said can be heard throughout the church, and for mixing the music and worship groups.
For each service there is a dedicated team of engineers and operators who set up the music group's sound equipment and operate our multi-track sound desk. They also record the sermons so that they are available later.
Training is given regularly and there is normally an experienced engineer on hand at each service to assist the team in the event of any problems, or unusual requests from the Service leader!
