Jo Chidgey has been pioneering an Evangelism Team from the YWAM Base in Jinja, Uganda with the purpose of reaching out to youth and children, mainly in schools but also into orphanages and places like the Children's Hospital. She has been supporting the local church in their evangelism and discipleship of youth and helping to run King's Kids Camps during the school holidays whereby children can be equipped to do evangelism themselves through the use of the performing arts in Ministry (drama, mime, dance, puppetry and song ).
Jo is now based in Southampton and has recently been accepted by AIM as a missionary (www.aimint.org/eu) with a view to returning to Africa in 2009.
