highfield at eleven
11am on Sundays in term time
Highfield at Eleven is a traditional evangelical Anglican Sunday service with an emphasis on relevant, quality bible teaching. The style of worship is more liturgical than at our other services and alternates between Morning Prayer and Holy Communion. Clear biblical teaching is presented which challenges us to deepen our faith and commitment. All followers of Jesus Christ are welcome to take communion regardless of their church background.
At 11am, an all-age choir leads us in a wide variety of traditional and contemporary music. This plays an important role in leading us into God's presence and into worship. Young people leave after about twenty minutes to go to their own groups which are organised in the Church Centre.
During school holidays we combine with the 9.30am service, Compass, at 10.30am which gives us an opportunity to meet other members of our church family.
